| she calls it is the missing piece to the puzzle in the lives of so many and I believe this offering is going to help us to remain obedient, consistent, faithful and focused and therefore qualifying ourselves for a seat of authority in the Kingdom of God. Submission to vision and leadership is the key for Kingdom Living and Karlene has definitely given us keys in this practical, yet profound teaching….

Preface (from The Power Of A Submitted Life)
Our popular culture is populated with "famous" people living lives marked by pride, independence, excess and defiance. Their self-centered lives are publicized and romanticized as the natural way to live. It's a backwards, upside down lie. Karlene Hamilton turn the truth right side up as she retells the stories of several key Bible characters emphasizing their response to God as key to the growth of their faith and freedom.
Submission and obedience to God is a natural way to live. We are made by Christ and for Christ. When we find him, we find ourselves and we find our brothers and sisters. When we yield to God we do not forfeit our freedom; we find true freedom living in him, by him and for him. If we live apart from him or in defiance of him, we go to pieces and destroy our lives and the lives of others. When we live consciously according to Christ, we really live. When we submit to God and obey his word we find harmony with ourselves and God's universe enabling us to walk the earth as a conqueror, afraid of nothing and loving everyone. This is the way to freedom.
Karlene models what she writes in this book. Her family life and service in the church demonstrate the power of Godly submission. Karlene redeems the time granted to her by God taking steps of faith to meet the needs of others and proclaim the love of Christ to everyone.
Follow her example as she follows Jesus Christ.
Accept her challenge to obey God and follow Jesus Christ. You will find his yoke easy and his burden light. Finding and doing his will is your freedom.
